THE STORE OF THE ORDER

The first run is being made ready

Nothing is for sale yet. The Order is not in a hurry — it would rather get the stitching right than get it out early.

BY ORDER OF THE COMMITTEE ON MERCHANDISE

Coming Soon

The Committee has reviewed the samples. The Committee has opinions. Two of the shirts were sent back over the weight of the fabric and one over a comma. This is exactly the level of care you would expect from a body that measures twice.

When the first run is right, it will open here. Until then, the crest is available the way it has always been available: by joining.

What is being made ready

Four categories are before the Committee. Two are close. Two are being argued about, which in this Order is a sign of health.

IN PREPARATION

The Shirts

Heavyweight, honestly cut, and printed with sayings the Order stands behind completely. Sized for men who have shoulders from carrying things nobody asked them to carry.

IN PREPARATION

Caps & Patches

The crest, embroidered. Meant to be worn until it fades, then worn some more, then argued about when somebody suggests replacing it.

Additional Stickers

Beyond the one in your welcome packet. Because a man with one sticker has a toolbox, and a man with four has a toolbox, a truck, a cooler, and a table saw.

A NOTE ON TIMING

The Order measures twice.

We could have had shirts out months ago. They would have been thin, the collars would have gone at the first wash, and every man who bought one would have quietly stopped wearing it by spring. That is not how this Order does anything.

Members are the first to know when the store opens — it is one of the smaller privileges of standing, and it costs nothing to hold.
